Spring Recreational Leagues – Central & Zachary

Online registration for the 2023 Spring Recreational seasons at Burbank and Independence Park has closed. Players returning to an existing team with approval from the head coach can email Kevin Hoeprich to register late. All other players registering late are subject to availability. Please allow 2 days for a response as we look to place all currently registered players on teams.

CENTRAL & ZACHARY - REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN

The early-bird discount for Zachary will end on February 9 and registration will close on February 25. The Zachary season will begin March 3-4.

The Central early-bird discount will end on February 7 and the registration will close on February 23. The Central spring season will begin on March 2.

RECREATIONAL COACHING

The BRSC Recreational Program is a volunteer-based program that focuses on fun, not wins and losses. Register now for the BRSC Recreational Program!

All recreational coaches are volunteers who must complete a background check before the start of the season. The success of the BRSC recreational season depends on the involvement of committed coaches. BRSC provides the training and all the necessary gear for coaches to have a successful season. No previous experience is required. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer coach, you can learn more about the process here.

Players can choose to register as a pool player or form a team with friends. Recreational soccer is available to players 4 to 17 years of age.

Additional Training - BRSC Rec Plus

Recreational players interested in additional practice/training sessions can attend one or two BRSC Academy sessions a week by also registering for BRSC Rec Plus at our Burbank Campus. Register here.

BRSC Recreational Leagues are an introductory soccer program designed to acquaint players and parents with the game of soccer. BRSC ACADEMY

Players 5 to 9 years old who want a structured environment under the instruction of professional coaches should look into BRSC Academy. It is an introductory, competitive program geared to prepare players for the BRSC Junior Competitive and Competitive Programs.

BRSC JUNIOR COMPETITIVE PROGRAM

Boys and girls who want a more challenging atmosphere with a passion for the game in U10 should try the BRSC Junior Competitive Program. The program focuses on a developmentally appropriate curriculum, which includes technique, technical speed, tactical application of technique, and principles of play.

This spring we are also accepting 2013 girls to participate in the Junior Competitive Program. Registration is available here.

BRSC COMPETITIVE PROGRAM

While the BRSC Competitive Program is at the halfway point of its season, there are teams in need of players. An update will be provided soon for teams and age groups in need of players.
