SMALL-SIDED EXERCISES

Small-sided games include small groups of players for each side (i.e., 2v2, 3v3). The purpose of small-sided games is to get players more touches on the ball and keep all players involved and engaged. The exercises outlined below help simulate game situations you encounter in gameplay. As you coach players, be sure to address both attacking and defending teams to help create a more challenging session for your players.
