As the game of soccer continues to grow in Louisiana, we need committed, knowledgeable, and well-trained referees. Quality referees are an essential part of player development. It also serves as an opportunity to earn a decent wage with a flexible schedule while maintaining a healthy lifestyle and making life-long friends.
The process of becoming a referee is simple but does require several steps before you can begin. Step 1 is to register and complete a background check. This process is for candidates over the age of 18. Please be aware the background check can take a few days.
After registering and submitting your background check, there will be online course work. This process typically takes 4-5 hours. Next, you will need to attend the field training. Upcoming courses will be updated regularly here.
Our next training course will take place on February 2, 2020, from 8 am-noon. Register now to complete your coursework and background check.
