According to the state of Louisiana and LSA, training begins in Phase Two.
Per LSA, only coaches and players will be allowed on the fields. Parents and other siblings are to remain in the car. If they need to get out of the car to go to the restroom, they must wear a mask and respect social distancing.
Per LSA, games will start when the state reaches Phase Three. Phase Three depends on the results from Phase Two, as determined by the state.
Participation in Phase Two is completely voluntary. If you want to keep your child home longer, it will not affect his/her team placement moving forward
Yes, during Phase Two - there will be only 1 team per field, with a maximum of 50 players/coaches on adjoining fields. Each player will have a designated spot to put their bags and water which they will return to during breaks.
As soon as LSA releases the tryout dates, we will send out our revised player placement dates. They will also be posted on our website at https://brsoccer.org/competitive/competitive-player-placement-process and shared on our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). Online registration is open at www.brsoccer.org.
Our 2020-21 Team Camp is currently scheduled for the week of July 27-31.
Our 2020-21 Coaching Assignment will be published on or before team placement, via email.

Once we have been given the go-ahead to begin in Phase Two, we will resume team practices allowing players to train in preparation for player placement. Entering into Phase Three we will conduct practices and schedule intra and inter-club friendly games.
It's imperative you register your child for player placement regardless of availability. Online registration is now open at www.brsoccer.org. Additional information will be sent out next week of May 18th.
Teams will practice on the field and days they are originally scheduled for the spring season. However, teams will only practice for one hour during Phase Two and there will be three practice times (5:00--6:00; 6:15-7:15 &7:30-8:30). Given the season ended early, any remaining team expenses will be reimbursed, credited to next year, or used to pay off any open balances.
You will be notified via email one week prior to our start date.
