BRSC Academy – Spring Season
Registration for the Spring Academy season for the Burbank, Central, and Zachary Campuses is now open!
The BRSC Academy program is a way for players to receive high-level coaching free from the stress of playing to win. We want players to improve technically and use creativity and improvisation to guide their way through the game. This helps build the foundation of confident, creative players who are prepared to advance into a competitive atmosphere at the completion of the program.
The BRSC Academy Program at Burbank is open to U6 to U12 boys and girls (2018-2012 birth years).
BRSC’s Zachary and Central Academy programs are open to boys and girls nine to thirteen years old. Registration for these programs is coming soon.
The cost is $350/player for a 10-week season. Players train three days a week at Burbank (with playdates for select age groups) and twice a week at the Central and Zachary Campuses.

BRSC add Jason Carrillo to Coaching Staff
Tuesday, February 20 – The BRSC Capitals announced the addition of Assistant Coach Jason Carrillo to the staff. Coach Carrillo holds a USSF License and USYS National Youth License. He currently serves as an Assistant Coach for Dutchtown High School Boys Soccer along with Coach Craig. Coach Carrillo is also the head coach for BRSC 05 Red and BRSC 06/07 Maroon.
Adding a coach to the staff was important to current Capitals Head Coach Craig.
“Jason provides a different level of stability to the team, a calm character that will provide valued opinions in tough situations,” said Coach Craig. “Having a member of the coaching staff with a real calm and level-headed approach will be essential for the level we are playing at.”
Coach Carrillo is excited to begin working with the Caps and is anxious to help the team take the next step. “Joining the Capitals as an assistant coach is more than just a role,” said Carrillo. “It’s about being part of a family.”
Coaching alongside Carrillo with Dutchtown for the 203/24 High School season gave Coach Craig a first-hand look at how Carillo coaches.
‘Having worked closely with Jason for a while now, this was an appointment that I was passionate about getting over the line,” remarked Coach Craig. “Reliable, dependable, and willing to give 100% to benefit the team, those types of characters are invaluable.”
With a mix of young and veteran players expected to fill out the squad, Coach Carrillo is excited to work with them all. “It’s an opportunity to contribute to a legacy and to inspire the next generation.”
