Additional Rec. Weekly Training

Get additional training sessions under the direction of BRSC staff coaches in BRSC Rec Plus. Rec Plus allows recreational players the opportunity to attend one or two sessions with the BRSC Academy Program at the Burbank, Central, and Zachary Campuses.

It is the perfect opportunity for recreational players to receive additional training during the season to work on skills not typically covered in team practices. BRSC Rec Plus training sessions will help expand the player’s understanding of the game and focus on age-appropriate skills and tactics.

COSTS

BURBANK: $185/ player one day a week | $295/player two days a week for 10 weeks

CENTRAL: $150/player Monday or Wednesday for 8 weeks

ZACHARY: $150/player Tuesday or Thursday for 8 weeks

 

TIMELINE

BURBANK: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday | 5:15 – 6:30 pm | Burbank Fields #26 & 27 | February 20 start date

CENTRAL: Monday and Wednesday | 5:00 – 6:00 pm | Lovett Rd. Park | February 3 Start Date | March 26 finish

ZACHARY: Tuesday and Thursday | Flanacher Rd. Park | February 4 Start Date | March 27 finish
Session 1 (5:00pm-6:15pm): Academy/Rec plus Academy (1st grade through 4th grade)
Session 2 (6:30pm-7:45pm): MS/HS Academy (5th grade and up)

 

Please note that Rec Plus is a separate registration from BRSC Recreational Soccer. Players who wish to participate in both must register for both programs.

 

What they will need each day:

-White Recreation kit for training days (can be purchased at Third Coast Soccer Store)

-soccer ball

-water bottle

-shin guards

-sunscreen or bug spray (if needed)

*Rec. Plus players will attend the one-day or two-day option they have registered in. The BRSC staff must be informed if players need to switch days in advance of training.

*Recreational Plus- The Recreational Plus is the option to attend one or two Academy training sessions each week if a player is registered on a Recreation team.
