BRSC Mourns the loss of Zayd Rawashdeh
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Zayd Rawashdeh. Zayd was an integral part of the BRSC 06B Black team that recently had an impressive performance at the USYS Southern Regionals. As much as we loved Zayd’s play on the pitch, his impact on his team off the field was more impactful.
“It is always sad to lose someone unexpectedly, but even more so when it hits so close to so many. We mourn the loss of our beloved teammate, player, brother, and friend.
Zayd always brightened practice with his overwhelming personality, his unwavering confidence, and his genuine goofiness.
He will always be remembered in our minds as a player that helped make history but even more importantly as a player that cared for and helped those around him.

“Life is a gift and it continues to surprise us when tragedy comes without warning and takes such a great young man like Zayd from us so soon.
I feel very blessed and privileged to have known and coached someone as special as Zayd; a player full of energy with an outstanding work ethic who always led by example and loved to be around his teammates.
He had a unique sense of humor that would make everyone around him laugh and have a great time.
We will miss you big time my man! We pray for you, your family, and your friends!
