Become a Referee
As the game of soccer continues to grow in Louisiana, we need committed, knowledgeable, and well-trained referees. Quality referees are an essential part of player development. It also serves as an opportunity to earn a decent wage with a flexible schedule while maintaining a healthy lifestyle and making life-long friends.
The process to become a referee is simple but does require several steps before you can begin. Step 1 is to register and complete a background check. Please select the state in which you would like to complete your referee certification. The background check is for candidates over the age of 18. This process can take a few days.
After registering and submitting your background check, there will be online coursework. This process typically takes 4-5 hours. Next, you will need to attend the field training.
