As the game of soccer continues to grow in Louisiana, we have a need for committed, knowledgeable, and well-trained referees. Quality referees are an essential part of player development. It also serves as an opportunity to earn a decent wage with a flexible schedule while maintaining a healthy lifestyle and making life-long friends.
The process to become a referee is simple but does require several steps before you can begin. Step 1 is to register and complete a background check. This is for candidates over the age of 18. This process can take a few days.
After registering and submitting your background check, there will be online coursework. This process typically takes 4-5 hours. Next, you will need to attend the field training.

A referee course will be held Sunday, February 13 at Our Lady of the Lake Fields at Burbank Soccer Park. Incoming referees will need to complete the online coursework prior to attending the field training session.
