BRSC United Welcomes New Coaching Staff

BRSC United announced on Wednesday, May 3rd the hiring of Jared Moss as the new head coach for the 2023 Women’s Gulf Coast Premier League Season. Coach Moss has been coaching for twenty years. His experience includes over ten years as a competitive coach at Ascension Flight, three seasons as the Dutchtown Boys Assistant Head Coach (2018-2021), and as the current head coach of Dutchtown Girls since 2021. Coach Moss also served as the President of Ascension Flight Soccer Club from 2013-2021.

A native of Mandeville, Coach Moss attended Mandeville High and captained them to a State Championship in 1997. He went on to play collegiately at Tusculum University.

Coach Moss currently holds a USSF B, United Soccer Coaches National Diploma, and GK 1/2, National Youth.

“I am excited to be a part of BRSC United and looking forward to getting to work with some of the best players in our region,” said Moss.

Joining Moss on the 2023 staff is Adam Shaw. Shaw grew up in Glasgow Scotland and played professional and semi-professional soccer for six years.

“I am very excited to start and see where the team can go,” said Shaw. “We are looking forward to challenging the players both on and off the field while making sure it is a positive experience for everyone.”

Previous stops in Coach Shaw’s career include five years at Motherwell Football Club in Scotland, seven years at Ascension Flight Soccer Club, and one season at Dutchtown High School. Shaw’s coaching qualifications include USSF F, USSF E, USSF D, National Youth License, TOP Soccer, SFA Youth Levels 1.1 – 1.3, and SFA Adult Levels 1.1 – 1.3.
