BRSC Introduces the Student Athlete Institute of Louisiana

Baton Rouge Soccer Club, in partnership with Blended & Online School Solutions (BOSS), is excited to bring a high-quality educational and soccer learning platform to Baton Rouge. The Student Athlete Institute of Louisiana (SAIL) is a new K-5 school that will serve the full-time academic and athletic needs through traditional schooling while offering virtual and blended education opportunities as needed.
SAIL will offer a Monday through Friday (8:00 am – 2:30 pm) traditional school model where academics, character formation, and skill development are taught through a curriculum encompassing a variety of conventional academics, life skills, and learning opportunities.
BRSC Academy Director Andy Smothermon will provide professional soccer instruction to students along with general physical education, twice daily. Instruction will focus on the four pillars of soccer – technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of the game.
The 2022/23 school year is currently underway, but registration is open with limited space for students available. The school is located at Community Bible Church at 8354 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70809. Enrollment will remain open until October 1 for the fall semester.
