About Louisiana Elite

Louisiana Elite Soccer Program (LAESP)

The Louisiana Elite Soccer Program (LAESP) represents the highest level of youth soccer offered through BRSC. It is designed for players who have demonstrated the ability, commitment, and desire to compete at the top levels of the game while continuing their development within a professional, structured environment.

LAESP serves as the elite pathway for players seeking advanced competition, exposure, and long-term opportunities in the sport.

How Louisiana Elite Connects to BRSC

Louisiana Elite is fully integrated within the BRSC player pathway. Many LAESP players begin their journey in BRSC Academy and Competitive Soccer before progressing into elite programming.

This connection allows:

  • A shared development philosophy

  • Consistent coaching standards

  • Smooth transitions between competitive and elite levels

  • Players to pursue the highest level of soccer without leaving the BRSC environment

While LAESP includes players from across Louisiana, BRSC Competitive Soccer remains the primary pipeline into the program.

Who is Louisiana Elite for?

Louisiana Elite is designed for 13U–19U players who:

  • Consistently perform at the top of their competitive age group

  • Are highly motivated and self-driven

  • Embrace training intensity and accountability

  • Want to test themselves against the best players locally, regionally, and nationally

This program is not for every player—and it is not intended to be. Placement is earned through performance, commitment, and readiness for a significantly higher competitive environment.

Leagues & Competition

Louisiana Elite teams compete in the top youth leagues in the United States, offering players meaningful, high-level matches every week.

Boys Pathway

  • MLS NEXT Tier Academy
The highest youth boys league outside of full MLS academies, featuring elite clubs and professional-level standards.

Girls Pathway

  • Girls Academy (GA)
The highest level of youth girls’ soccer in the country, providing national competition, college exposure, and a professionalized environment.

These leagues represent a significant jump in speed of play, physicality, and tactical demands compared to traditional competitive leagues.

Commitment Level & Expectations

Louisiana Elite requires a greater commitment than BRSC Competitive Soccer.

Families should expect:

  • Increased training intensity and accountability

  • A demanding match schedule

  • Regional and national travel

  • Year-round focus on development

  • Players to take ownership of preparation, recovery, and performance

This commitment mirrors the expectations players will face at the collegiate, professional, and national team levels.

The Jump in Competition

The transition from competitive soccer to Louisiana Elite is substantial.

Players will experience:

  • Faster pace of play

  • Higher technical and tactical demands

  • Greater physical challenges

  • Deeper rosters with daily competition for roles

  • Opponents with elite-level training backgrounds

This environment pushes players outside their comfort zone—and that discomfort is intentional. Growth happens there.

Player Opportunities & Proven Pathways

Louisiana Elite provides players with opportunities that extend well beyond weekly matches.

National & Professional Exposure

  • Camille Toussaint – Selected to attend multiple U.S. Youth National Team (U17) Training Camps

  • Noah Crosetto – Advanced to the LA Galaxy Academy

  • Sutton Williams – Advanced to the Sporting Kansas City Academy

These achievements reflect the level of competition, exposure, and development available through LAESP.

College Advancement & Showcases

Louisiana Elite players regularly participate in:

  • National showcases

  • College recruitment events

  • High-visibility league matches attended by college coaches

The program provides players with a platform to pursue collegiate soccer at a wide range of levels while continuing to develop holistically as athletes and individuals.

Development First, Exposure Earned

While exposure is an important benefit, Louisiana Elite remains grounded in development-first principles.

Players are challenged to:

  • Improve technically and tactically

  • Compete the right way

  • Handle adversity

  • Grow as leaders and teammates

Exposure is a byproduct of performance, preparation, and consistency—not a promise.

Is Louisiana Elite Right for Your Player?

Louisiana Elite may be the right fit if your player:

  • Is excelling at the competitive level

  • Is motivated to train and compete at a higher standard

  • Thrives in challenging environments

  • Has long-term goals in soccer

It may not be the right fit if a player or family is not ready for the increased commitment, travel, or competitive pressure, and that’s okay. Development is not linear, and pathways remain flexible.

The Bigger Picture

Louisiana Elite Soccer Program exists to:

  • Push players to their highest potential

  • Provide access to top-level competition

  • Prepare athletes for the next stage of the game

  • Keep elite players connected to a Louisiana-based pathway

It is not about shortcuts. It is about earning opportunities every day.
