CANVA TEMPLATES
Keep friends, family, and your team's social media accounts up-to-date with BRSC Social Media Templates. We have graphics for you to post match results, upcoming games, players of the match, and more. Follow the instructions below to get started.
Make a copy of the templates
- Log in to Canva or create a free account
- Use the following link to view the BRSC Competitive Template
- In order to edit these for your team, click “File” and select “Make a copy” from the drop-down menu
- An editable version will open in a new tab and you can begin customizing your graphic(s)
- Note: You may have a pop-up notice that instructs you to allow pop-ups for Canva.com before the editable version opens. Allow pop-ups and then go to “File” and select “Make a copy” again.
After copying the project, you will be able to make and save edits to the templates. You can drop in photos, and opponent logos, or create your personalized versions of these templates.
DO NOT ALTER, SKEW, WARP, CHANGE THE COLOR, or ADJUST THE BRSC CREST IN ANY WAY. Please do the same for any opponent or event logo used. Questions about the proper use of the BRSC Crest can be directed to BRSC Marketing Director Trent Bland.
All of your edits will automatically saved by Canva when you return to the file. We recommended making a copy of the canvas you wish to edit so you can make any edits without fear of losing the initial design. You can always return to the original shared link to make an additional copy.
Edit and customize the graphics
NOTES:
There are many tutorials available on YouTube for those new to Canva. We recommend starting there if you need assistance getting started.
- During the editing process, double-check your file to ensure all placeholder text and images are updated.
- After uploading your team and player photos, you can drag and drop photos into the frame placeholders. Double-click on the photo once in the frame to resize and reposition the image.
- Canva also has a mobile app to edit and create graphics on the go.
- Canva has template sizes for IG/FB Stories, X, YouTube Thumbnails, and more. Templates for other platforms are not available at this time. You can copy and paste graphics from the original and resize as needed for other platforms.
