Cancellation Policy
In the event that the weather makes it unsafe to hold our ID camp, all participants will receive a full refund minus a $10 administrative fee. We will make a determination about a weather cancellation 24 hours before the camp is supposed to begin.

BRSC Capitals FREE Youth Clinic

BRSC Capitals Youth Clinic
In preparation for the upcoming Gulf Coast Premier League season, the BRSC Capitals have announced that they will hold a FREE Youth Clinic on Friday, April 19 at Our Lady of the Lake Fields at Burbank Soccer Park. BRSC Capitals players and coaches will run the free training session.
 
This clinic is open to all 3rd – 5th grade players who participate in any of BRSC’s competitive and recreational campuses. Players must register to attend to ensure adequate staff is available.
All participating players should bring a properly inflated ball and water. Cleats and shinguards are suggested.

BRSC Pre-Competitive Open House – April 11

BRSC Pre-Competitive Open House

BRSC will hold an Open House for all  2013 – 2016 parents to learn about the BRSC Pre-Competitive Program on Thursday, April 11 at 6:30 pm at the pavilion near Field 6. The open house will outline the pre-competitive program as well as the benefits and expectations. If you’re considering attending our 2024/25 Player Placement Process, this is an excellent introduction prior to the upcoming tryouts.

BRSC Competitive Director Marvin Smith will share all of the ins and outs of the program, how it fits within the BRSC Player Pathway and answer parent questions.

BRSC Competitive – Player Placement Process (Tryouts)

BRSC Player Placement Process

We are pleased to announce that registration for the 2024-25 Player Placement Process (PPP) is open. For those who are unfamiliar with PPP, more commonly known as a ‘tryout’ is a process that enables boys and girls born in 2015 through 2006 to be evaluated by BRSC Staff Coaches with the possibility of being placed on one of the BRSC Competitive Teams for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 seasons.

If your child intends to play within our competitive and pre-competitive programs next season, it is important to register for tryouts even if you cannot attend. Last season we filled up fast for our boys 2012-2014 pre-competitive program and could not add players to the program post-tryouts.

TRYOUT DATES

Check-in will be at the pavilion between fields 23, 26, and 27. There will be a brief parent meeting immediately after players are released to their assigned fields. We ask that parents make every effort to attend this meeting.

BRSC College ID Camps

BRSC College ID Camps
Baton Rouge Soccer Club is holding College ID Camp opportunities for area players to help players who have ambitions to play at the collegiate level. There will be separate camps for boys and girls that will take place at Our Lady of the Lake Fields at Burbank Soccer Park in Baton Rouge.
The camps are designed to allow collegiate coaches to watch players from the Louisiana region ages 14-18. Louisiana has many college-level athletes and we want to maximize the opportunities that our players have to be seen and go to the college of their choice and continue their playing careers.
If you are interested in playing at the collegiate level, attending these camps is an opportunity to be discovered and evaluated by college coaches in the region and learn valuable information about the recruiting process.
