BRSC Competitive – Player Placement Process (Tryouts)

Good Morning BRSC Members

We are pleased to announce that, registration for the 2023-2024 Player Placement Process (PPP) is open. For those who are unfamiliar with PPP, more commonly known as a ‘tryout’ is a process that enables boys and girls born in 2014 through 2005 to be evaluated by BRSC Staff Coaches with the possibility of being placed on one of the BRSC Competitive Teams for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 seasons.

Before we share our registration with you, we would like to inform you of another announcement for the upcoming Fall 2023 season. In January, BRSC made a move from the previous platform for registrations (LeagueApps) to a new, exciting, soccer-related platform called PlayMetrics. We know that this change brings some minor requests to create new accounts, and need to familiarize ourselves with a new site, however, we feel for our membership and club programming being in one centralized location will be best for all.

Please use the link below for PPP to create your account and add your child(ren). We also recommend that you download the PlayMetrics app from your mobile App Store after you create your account, then log in using those details. Below are some useful links when it comes to the new software to make your onboarding process much simpler.

Register for Summer Camp

Registration is now open for BRSC 2023 Summer Camps. The BRSC Summer Camp aims to help develop players’ skills through learning exercises that utilize functional training games to teach individual techniques, skills, and tactics through creative and motivating sessions.

Partners in Development Spring Program (U13 – U19)

Parterns in Development Spring 23

At BRSC strive to offer the best player experiences. We believe the Partners in Development (PID) program will allow your player to not only continue to develop but also provide the opportunity to play with players from across the state.

The cost per player for this program is $295. With that fee, your player will be participating in 4 practice sessions and 2 virtual sessions. They will receive 2 PID jerseys as well as participate in a tournament. That tournament registration is already built into the total cost. All the PID families will be responsible for accommodations- Food, Hotel, and Travel.

PID REGISTRATION

When you register, please be sure to upload a headshot to your League Apps Account. If you are already a BRSC member, please make sure your GotSport account has uploaded the headshot. Once you have registered and taken care of the headshot, please also be sure to email a copy of your player’s Birth Certificate to Coach Melin- tillo2ko@gmail.com.

What to wear to training- If you could have your players attend in all black (black shorts, black socks, black top) we would really appreciate that. Please bring plenty of water, a soccer ball, and shin guards.
