5-A-Side Tournament
A Global Game. A Local Stage.
We’re excited to officially open registration for the BRSC 5-A-Side Tournament. Join us on June 6th-7th, for an action-packed weekend built for competition as we welcome soccer’s biggest event to the United States.
This fast-paced format brings together teams from across the region for a high-energy, international-style tournament experience right here on our home fields. If you love the drama, intensity, and pride of global soccer, this event is for you.
Each team is guaranteed four 20-minute games, giving players plenty of time on the field and the opportunity to advance through the tournament to compete for our grand prize.
Division Breakdown
Boys: U10–U12, U13–U15, U16–U19, Adult Open
Girls: U10–U12, U13–U15, U16–U19, Adult Open
We are aiming for 8 total divisions with up to 16 teams in each division. Each division will be organized into four groups of four teams.
Tournament Format
Each team will play three group stage games, which will determine seeding for the knockout rounds. All teams will advance to the Round of 16, where bracket play begins. From there, teams will compete through the quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship match to determine the division winner.
Each championship team will take home a trophy along with additional prizes.
Game Format
Games will be 20 minutes long with no halftime to keep the action moving. Substitutions will be made on the fly. Instead of traditional offside, we will use the 3-line rule to promote flow and maximize playing time. Each match will be officiated by a single referee.
Registration Details
- Team Entry Fee: $400 per team (registration is team based)
- Roster Size: No maximum roster limit
Teams will select a primary color during registration, and all players must wear that color throughout the tournament.

The Tournament Experience
To kick things off, BRSC will host an official Group Stage Draw, streamed across our social media channels. This reveal will set the stage for the weekend, giving teams their matchups and building anticipation before the first whistle.
From there, it’s all about performance. The even will feature quick matches, tight spaces, and nonstop action as teams battle their way through group play and into the knockout rounds.
Represent. Compete. Win.
This tournament is your chance to bring your squad together, represent your chosen nation, and compete in a one-of-a-kind, globally inspired event.
Spots will fill quickly, so gather your team, choose your colors, and get ready for an unforgettable weekend of soccer.
Summer Soccer Camps
Registration is now open for BRSC 2026 Summer Camps. The BRSC Summer Camp aims to help develop players’ skills through learning exercises that utilize functional training games to teach individual techniques, skills, and tactics through creative and motivating sessions.
The 2026 Camp will return to Premier Soccer Center to ensure no rainouts! We will utilize the indoor and outdoor space adjacent to Premier to ensure that the weather will never be a factor for camp.
Our morning sessions focus on the skills of passing, dribbling, shooting, attacking, defending, and ball control. In the afternoon sessions, we will build on technique and concentrate on the tactical aspects of soccer.

Become a Referee
As the game of soccer continues to grow in Louisiana, we need committed, knowledgeable, and well-trained referees. Quality referees are an essential part of player development. It also serves as an opportunity to earn a decent wage with a flexible schedule while maintaining a healthy lifestyle and making life-long friends.
The process to become a referee is simple but does require several steps before you can begin. Step 1 is to register and complete a background check. Please select the state in which you would like to complete your referee certification. The background check is for candidates over the age of 18. This process can take a few days.
After registering and submitting your background check, there will be online coursework. This process typically takes 4-5 hours. Next, you will need to attend the field training.
